FAILURE IS INEVITABLE! If I were to write down all my failures, I could possibly write a 365-page book. Actually, it would most likely be quite a few more books than just ONE book.
No one likes to be looked upon as a failure because, frankly, it just doesn’t feel right. In fact, it feels ALL wrong. When you fail at something, it feels as though there is no way to pull yourself away from the destructive feeling of knowing that you’ve let somebody down. Whether it’s a spouse, your children, your boss or your friends, the disappointment that comes from failure is hard to escape. Just when it seems like there’s absolutely no way out…God intervenes.
Oh, how I am so thankful for my Abba Father who bails me out from the pit of failure. He reminds me that whatever obstacles I may come across, He will be there to guide me through. Yes, failure hurts…but at the same time it feels good to know that God is watching over each one of us; therefore, failure is good for the soul.
When you fall down, there’s only one way up–and that’s to let God take hold of your hand and lift you up.
“He will not let your foot slip–He who watches over you will not slumber…” (Psalm 121).
When I feel like I have failed, I know exactly where my help comes from … do you?
